King, Professor of Borneo Studies at the Institute of Asian Studies, Universiti Brunei Darussalam has been appointed Editor-in-chief of the journal, Suvannabhumi: Multi-disciplinary Journal of Southeast Asian Studies. King was formerly the Co-editor.Suvannabhumi is the journal of the Institute for Southeast Asian Studies at Busan University of Foreign Studies and is devoted to the publication of scholarship on Southeast Asian Studies. Now in its eleventh year, the journal has recently been recognized by the Korean Citation Index.
